Weaving
A variety of workshops from beginners to advanced, available. A few different styles of weaving can be learnt, as well as different types of materials such as raffia, macrame cord, fabric, wool and twine. Or learn to make baskets, wall hangings or table runners. Once you have the basic skill anything is possible.
Printmaking
The Printmaking workshops focus on mostly two forms screen-printing and lino-printing and can be printed on paper or fabric. In both workshops you will learn how to design for Screen & Lino - printing and also print on paper and fabric.
Sewing
Sewing is a skill which seems to have died out over recent years. In these workshops, I aim to teach people the basics of hand sewing and also using a sewing machine. If you are a mother or a father who wants to learn how to repair yours and/or your childrens' clothes then you can select the first workshop "Sewing for beginners" or if you want to know how to design or make your own clothes and already have some knowledge the Advanced Sewing maybe be better for you.
Painting
Some call it therapy, but painting can be many different things, first nations people painted to keep a record for future generations and to tell stories and we can too. We can gain healing from it by self-expression, or to tell a story or just have fun creating something to decorating our room or our house. Whatever you a need a workshop can be tailored to suit.
Jewellery Making.
Learn how to make earrings, necklaces, bracelets and hair accessaries, sewing scrunchies and/or painting or sewing hair clips, bandanas etc. Items for decorating your room or bags or curtains, light shades or wall hangings the possibilities are endless.
Home decoration
Learn how to decorate your home by sewing cushion covers and re-upholstering your lounge chairs, sewing or printing on curtains, painting or carving on other products such as photo frames tables or footrests or whatever.
